The Movement Mechanics for Modern BodiesÂ
Our Story
We were handed a body—but no manual.
So we studied:
Stages. Studios. Science labs.
Elite performers. Everyday people.
And no matter who we worked with, we kept hearing:
"How did you see that? How did I not know that?"
So we created what we needed but never had:
A system that makes the complex simple.
A translation guide—back to yourself.
Built with science.
Told in metaphor.
Powered by a little mechanical poetry.

MEGAN SPELL
Body decoder. Â Circular thinker. Â Movement storyteller.Â
Former dancer turned movement educator, with 20+ years helping humans move smarter—from Chicago to NYC to London to LA.
She holds a BA in English (University of Arizona), an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction (University College London), and an Advanced Certificate in Occupational Ergonomics (Colorado State University). She’s also a certified BASI Pilates teacher—but “navel to spine” was just her gateway cue.Â
Now, Megan uses metaphor like a mechanic uses a wrench—turning “What is my body even doing?” into “Oh. That’s what it’s doing.”
Megan believes complex things should be taught like good stories: with wit, rhythm, and just enough weirdness to make it stick.

WHITNEY SCHMANSKI
Movement designer. Systems thinker. Human mechanic with professional dancer skills and a biomechanics toolkit.
Â
Whitney speaks fluent body. She merges science, performance, and creative vision to unlock movement that actually makes sense—whether you're a pro athlete, an artist, or just trying to survive your office chair.
With degrees from Juilliard and UC Irvine in Dance Performance & Research, plus certifications in the GYROTONIC® method and Pilates, Whitney designs movement the way great directors design stories: with intention, rhythm, and range.
She’s here to help you remember what your body can do—before modern life convinced you otherwise.
